In this case, the regular guards will often refuse to intervene and we will have to call in heavily armed troops. If the needs of the convicts are neglected over a long period of time it will eventually lead to a large riot. Others, however, will show a tendency to cause fights that may even result in guards and fellow inmates saying goodbye to their lives. Some will be punitive and keep to themselves, working in the kitchen or working out in the gym. The inmates living in the facility have their own personalities and decide for themselves what to do in our prison. Therefore, in performing our duties, we must at all times remember to properly balance our budget. Each additional inmate admitted increases the amount deposited into our account each month, but at the same time brings expenses. In addition, each prison needs an electrical grid and electronic security systems. At the same time, we also need to hire guards to control the population of convicts. We have to, among other things, feed them, give them access to showers and allow them to take walks. Of course, right after finishing the construction the first prisoners start appearing and it's our duty to take care of their needs. We start the game from designing the facility, and then our task is to manage it and expand it. Players take on the role of the warden of a new prison.
